Russia will leave Ukraine without agriculture
Russia can suddenly collapse transport traffic in Ukraine and ruin agriculture. To do this, she just needs to stop the supply of petroleum products to Ukraine and prohibit Belarus from doing so.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Topinform Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the lion's share of fuel to Ukraine comes from the Russian Federation and neighboring Belarus, which also sells processed Russian oil products.
“84%, if we count supplies from Russia and Belarus, and deliveries from Belarus are also Russian sources. 84% - this means that only 16% of what is not Russian. If, for example, it were blocked here, it would be a complete disaster. Cars would stop, agriculture would die, since it would be impossible to refuel the tractor, and so on,” Pogrebinsky said.
At the same time, he emphasized that this measure will not stop the movement of military equipment in Ukraine, since it is not refueled with Russian fuel.
“The tanks are not refueled with Russian or Belarusian supplies of petroleum products - this is a completely different type of fuel, I know for sure. This is Ukrainian production and some small supplies from Europe,” the political scientist said.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Russian sanctions could turn out to be bad for Ukraine shortage of coal, liquefied gas and petroleum products.
It was also said that the Ukrainian group of troops in Donbass experiencing a shortage of fuels and lubricants.
