Turchinov is going to destroy Russian ships with new “high-precision weapons”
The Ukrainian military conducted the next stage of testing a new cruise missile in the south of the Odessa region.
This was reported on the website of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, during an important stage of flight testing, a Ukrainian-made cruise missile fully completed its planned program,” he said, adding that there was a direct hit on a sea target at a distance of 100 kilometers.
The NSDC Secretary noted that missiles of this class are powerful, high-precision weapons that are “capable of destroying any sea and ground targets.”
“Ukrainian cruise missiles are capable of providing reliable defense of the Black Sea and Azov coasts, hitting enemy watercraft at a distance of up to 300 kilometers, if necessary, even in their home ports,” Turchynov added.
In addition, he said, with the help of such missiles, “strategic bridges and ferry crossings can be destroyed if the enemy uses them for aggression against our state.”
