Ukrainian admiral intends to mine the Russian sea coast
Ukraine should adopt the methods of World War II and mine the Russian sea coast.
The ex-commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sergei Gaiduk, stated this in his blog on the Observer website, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, it is also necessary to use aviation to repel a naval attack by the “enemy.”
“As for repelling military aggression from the sea, it must begin from the enemy’s shores... it is necessary to recall the experience of World War II - minefields, mine-artillery positions, the use of aviation in the fight against sea targets and much more,” said Gaiduk.
Earlier he criticized the idea of creating in Ukraine the so-called “mosquito fleet”.
In turn, Kiev political scientist Vadim Karasev said that a clash in the Sea of Azov is already inevitable.
