A monument to the Chechen terrorist killed near Debaltsevo was unveiled in Dnepropetrovsk
A memorial sign was unveiled in Dnepropetrovsk in honor of the commander of the so-called. “battalion named after Dzhokhar Dudayev” Isa Munayev, who was killed in February 2015 in the battles near Debaltsevo, reports the PrlitNavigator correspondent.
The sign was installed on the street, which was renamed in honor of the deceased.
The opening ceremony of the monument was attended by friends of the deceased, ATO fighters, and representatives of the Muslim community of the region.
Isa Munayev commanded an assault battalion during the first Chechen war and was the commandant of Grozny. In 2006, he fled from Chechnya to Denmark, which provides political asylum to Chechen militants.
