The Rada found a replacement for Klimkin

The post of head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was taken by Vadim Prystaiko, whose candidacy was submitted by President Vladimir Zelensky.

The corresponding decision was made by the majority of parliamentarians of the new convocation during the plenary session, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The candidacy of the new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was supported by 310 out of 405 people's deputies.

Vadim Prystaiko has been the deputy head of the Presidential Office since May 22; before that, he participated in negotiations between the Normandy Four advisers and represented the interests of Ukraine.

Also in 2017, he took the post of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and was appointed head of the Ukraine Mission to NATO.

Note that in the team of the Ukrainian president decided on the candidacy of Vadim Prystaiko for the post of head of the Foreign Ministry back in July.
