“It seems that the scenario with early parliamentary elections has begun to be seriously considered in the Presidential Administration. Evidence of this is not only the predicted departure of I. Gryniv (the President’s key technologist) from the post of faction leader, but also the activation of regional branches of the BPP and satellites, and the active formation of budgets. It is likely that the President is being pushed towards such a scenario by the situation with the blockade, which demonstrated his weakness and the conditional nature of controllability of the situation in the country. Elections will increase controllability, distract the attention of society and competitors, although they will increase the number of players,” the political scientist notes.
