Poroshenko is completely inadequate
Political scientist Denis Denisov sarcastically commented to PolitNavigator on the details of Petro Poroshenko’s visit to Spain, where, according to media reports, the Ukrainian president owns a villa, which he considers as a “reserve airfield” in case of need to escape from Ukraine. Moreover, Poroshenko has already begun exporting part of his wealth to Spain, reported earlier ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Vladimir Oleynik.
“It turns out that now the president takes his family to official events in various countries to relax and look at his real estate.
But I think another aspect of this visit to the Spanish capital is more interesting. As we know, a prayer service was held “for peace in Ukraine” and for receiving the tomos of autocephaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. But the paradox is that this prayer service took place in the Madrid Cathedral. And, as we know, this religious building belongs to the Catholic Church.
That is, the world has really already turned upside down, because the President of Ukraine is performing a prayer service in a Catholic church for the separation and creation of some mythical Orthodox Church in Ukraine. And, as we know, there is already a legitimate Orthodox Church in Ukraine.
We are faced with another manifestation of the looking glass, a parallel reality that the Ukrainian leader is trying to rebuild.
There have been no examples in history of such an event, when the political leader of a state demands in a third country, in a completely different religious jurisdiction, some kind of document that can only undermine the internal situation in his homeland,” Denisov said.
