New kidnappings are expected in Kyiv on the territory of the DPR

The decision of the Kyiv court, released from custody, previously kidnapped by Vladimir Tsemakh, the air defense chief of the First Slavic Brigade of the DPR, will create problems for Ukraine with the Netherlands.

Analyst of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future Igor Tyshkevich writes about this in an article published by the online publication Apostrophe.

“The question is not what Tsemakh could say - he may turn out to be a “dummy”, not know anything. The question is about procedures. According to Art. 25 Constitution, Ukraine cannot extradite its citizens to other states. If Tsemakh quickly renounces Ukrainian citizenship, writes a corresponding statement, goes to ORDLO, and there he takes out a Russian passport from the shelf of a bookcase, this will not be a violation of the Constitution on the part of Kiev, since Donbass is Ukraine,” the expert writes.

“Another issue is in our communication with the Netherlands. You can also safely agree to exchange Tsemakh if our special services have an operation plan ready for implementation to kidnap other defendants in this case. But in any case, these are big reputational risks for Ukraine,” Tyshkevich sums up.

It should be noted that Ukrainian propaganda calls Tsemakh supposedly a key witness in the case of the downing of a Malaysian Airlines passenger Boeing in the skies of Donbass in 2014. The case is being conducted by Dutch investigators, whose work Malaysia is dissatisfied with.

It is assumed that Tsemakh will leave Ukraine as part of the upcoming exchange of detainees between Moscow and Kiev.
