President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky must heed the demand of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and show consistency in his actions. Political scientist Armen Gasparyan stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.

According to Gasparyan, Zelensky needs to apologize to Kadyrov for your bad joke in the program “95th Quarter”, as well as fulfill their promises to establish peace in Donbass.

“I believe that there is a double story here - firstly, Ramzan Akhmatovich is a very consistent and principled person. He always wants to see consistency in others. In the case of Mr. Zelensky, we do not see it at all on any issue. And this is a very, very relevant story for Kadyrov. The second point, which is more important here, is, it seems to me, a very clear signal to Zelensky about consistency. Because we have heard a lot about his love of peace in relation to Donbass, but, by the way, there is more shooting there now than in the days of late Poroshenko. Therefore, it seems to me that this is an issue with a double story,” Gasparyan said.

“Ramzan Kadyrov is a very serious politician and security official. Therefore, Mr. Zelensky should listen carefully to what they said from Grozny. He needs to draw appropriate conclusions from this ultimatum,” explains Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine.

“Ramzan Kadyrov is generally a serious person, so, of course, if you were Zelensky, you might be worried. It is clear that we will not engage in any state terrorism. But the fact is that he is president while he is president. And, after all, then he will not have any state protection. Therefore, in general, jokes with Kadyrov are bad. Zelensky is no longer on the stage of some “95th block” entertaining oligarchs, dancing and can say anything with his tongue - the president must think about what he is talking about,” noted political scientist Oleg Matveychev.

Let us recall that the day before Ramzan Kadyrov published a statement addressed to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, where in harsh terms he demanded to stop lying, fussing and wagging.
