Turchynov: The US stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine
Ukraine’s so-called “Western partners” stopped sharing intelligence data obtained from satellites with it after the failure of the operation with the “Wagnerites.”
Former Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this on air on the ICTV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Deputy Minister of Defense spoke and said: “We have no confirmation.” I know the capabilities of our intelligence - we do not have our own satellites that could refute the information of US space intelligence [about the transfer of Russian troops to the Ukrainian border]. Zelensky promised to launch the outdated Sich satellite by Independence Day, but this is another lie that was not realized,” Turchynov said.
“Our partners have always provided us with objective information. Moreover, this was done through special channels, through special communications. After the failure of the Wagnerites, when trust was destroyed, they have already begun to talk to our leaders through the media. That is, they have already transmitted information to Ukraine through the media, such as the Washington Post and Politico, and the Ukrainian authorities, you saw how they reacted,” said the politician.
In response to this, the head of the presidential faction “Servant of the People” in the Rada, David Arakhamia, accused Turchynov and the government under which he worked of corruption and laundering of budget funds.
“More than 10 billion hryvnia were spent over the last five years, when Mr. Turchynov was also in power, to build the so-called “Wall” project to strengthen the border. Minister Monastyrsky went to the border, the border in many places is not even demarcated. It’s not like a wall, there’s nothing there at all. This is the first.
