A giant bear in the sky over Yalta announced the arrival of Russia
A new legend has appeared among the residents of Yalta - shortly before the start of the Russian Spring, a cloud in the form of a giant bear’s head formed in the sky above the embankment. This is exactly the story locals tell when commenting on a photo of an unusual cloud on social networks.
However, the most attentive could see Russian tricolors in the photographs - this means that the photo was taken after the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
In general, mysterious clouds over Yalta are a common thing. The South Coast “pearl” is constantly covered with “bears”, “butterflies”, “dragons”, and even flying saucers.
This summer, for example, guests and residents of the resort capital of Crimea were treated to a rare sight - mammatus clouds. They occur predominantly in tropical latitudes and are associated with the formation of tropical cyclones. The name mammatus comes from the Latin mamma (meaning “udder” or “breast”), so in Russian translation they are called udder-shaped clouds.
