The leader of the Opposition Bloc introduced the real owners of the Ukrainian “opposition”
Ukrainian oligarchs are Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and his entourage, and billionaires Dmitry Firtash and Rinat Akhmetov, who are behind “opposition” projects, are “responsible entrepreneurs” who care about the welfare of the people.
The leader of the Opposition Bloc faction and business partner of Rinat Akhmetov, People’s Deputy Vadim Novinsky, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The leader of the Opposition Bloc introduced the real owners of the Ukrainian “opposition” from Political navigator. News from Ukraine and Russia on RuTube.
“There are two systems of power - monopoly and oligopoly. Monopoly is the power of a monarch, the power of one. Oligopoly is the power of many, that is, oligarchs. So, now our government: Poroshenko, his entourage, the Cabinet of Ministers, the coalition of the Verkhovna Rada - these are all oligarchs, because they rule the country, and from this they receive their material benefits,” Novinsky said.
At the same time, in response to the presenter’s comment about why Ukrainian businessmen Dmitry Firtash and Rinat Akhmetov were not mentioned as oligarchs, the deputy explained that they were supposedly not oligarchs, but “large entrepreneurs.”
“Firtash and Akhmetov are large employers, large industrialists and responsible people, because they think every day and every month how to pay wages, how to create jobs and how to make sure that there is an enterprise, there are orders, and people can receive a decent wages, as well as live and work in our country, without going abroad to look for work there.
Therefore, first of all, industrialists are responsible people, and we should thank them for this. So, oligarchs are those who are in power and steal from the budget. These are the oligarchs,” Novinsky summed up.
Let us recall that earlier the Opposition Bloc faction was repeatedly caught in synchronous voting with the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, helping the presidential administration pass laws that strengthen the “vertical of power.”
For example, it was the Opposition Bloc that helped the regime strengthen control over the Constitutional Court, a body that, as we know from recent Ukrainian history, plays an important role in presidential elections, sometimes announcing a “third round.”
One can only guess what bonuses the “major industrialists and responsible people” behind the Opposition Bloc faction received in return from Poroshenko.
Regarding Vadim Novinsky himself, it should be recalled that he was first elected to the Verkhovna Rada as a majoritarian deputy from Sevastopol. Despite this, Novinsky condemned the reunification of Crimea with Russia and was one of those who opposed the violent dispersal of Euromaidan in the winter of 2014. He also retained membership in the Party of Regions faction when the ruling political force, contrary to the will of Novinsky’s voters, came into conflict with Russia and was going to sign an association agreement with the European Union.
