Moscow will reward the heroes who destroyed the Nazi underground in Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic states
Russian President Vladimir Putin extended payments for the 75th anniversary of the Victory to participants in the fight against the local Nazi underground in the Baltic states, Belarus and Ukraine.
The text of the corresponding decree was published on his page on the social network by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Anti-Corruption, Alexander Khinshtein, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In connection with the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, I decree:
In 2020, make a one-time payment in the amount of 75 rubles to citizens of the Russian Federation permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation, in the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Estonia, who are disabled during the Great Patriotic War from among military personnel, privates and commanding officers of internal affairs bodies and state security agencies that took part in the liquidation of the nationalist underground on the territory of Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in the period from January 000, 1 to December 1944, 31,” the document says.
