“This matter has been reviewed. And the proceedings in the case are closed,” the press service noted.

Ex-militant Ananyev himself boastfully announced the closure of production on his Facebook page.

“This is the end of the story of my detention. Yesterday the trial took place: the case was closed, the charges were dropped. In the photo with me is a guy whose nose I broke two years ago, and, as you can see, no one holds any grudges,” he wrote.

In addition, Ananyev denied the information that he was taken on bail.

“In the comments I’ll add a photo from the registry, where it is clearly written “No preventive measure was taken,” the ex-militant boasted.

Let us remind you that Ananyev was detained in early September in Dnepropetrovsk.

As explained by the press service of the regional police department, the event related to the detention of the militant occurred in January 2016.

“During training in the gym in the village of Gvardeiskoye, a conflict occurred between two men. After a verbal altercation, one of the men punched the other in the face several times. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with hemorrhage around the eyes, a first-degree brain contusion, and a displaced fracture of the nasal bones, the police said.

The investigative department qualified this event under Part 1 of Art. 125 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (minor bodily injury). However, then, according to a new certificate from the forensic medical examination, which indicated the severity of bodily injuries, the qualification of criminal proceedings was changed to Part 1 of Art. 122 (Intentional moderate bodily injury).

Later, the victim and suspect agreed to reconcile.

“It is planned to close the criminal proceedings. During the court hearing, a reconciliation agreement will be considered,” the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office reported.
