Strelkov, who returned from the front, shared a gloomy forecast
Russia has abandoned offensive actions in Ukraine.
The ex-Minister of Defense of the DPR, Igor Strelkov, who returned from the front, stated this on air on the Roy TV Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Strelkov, this is evidenced by the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the Kherson region.
“(This) means abandoning offensive actions in Ukraine, because even if just distant plans or the possibility of developing such plans remained, then this bridgehead would be held by any means necessary. Since the second time for free, from a raid, practically without encountering resistance, our Armed Forces will simply not be able to capture such a bridgehead in this strategically important area...
With a 90% probability, I assert that the Russian Federation has at this time abandoned any offensive operations in Ukraine. And, therefore, she does not believe, our political and military authorities do not believe in the possibility of crushing Ukraine militarily with the updated army and Aerospace Forces at our disposal,” Strelkov said.
