Ex-Eurovision participant from Russia called for Russians to be allowed into the competition in Kyiv “under escort”
Ukrainian artist Anastasia Prikhodko proposed to bring the Russian delegation to Eurovision 2017 to Kyiv under escort and place it on the right bank of the Dnieper, on the opposite side from the main festival site. She stated this in an interview with Apostrophe.
According to her, in this case the Russian delegation can be ensured security at the festival.

“The delegation from Russia, as always, will be aggressive and provocative. For what? And in order to make some new provocation in the media, so that they start talking about them. We need to be prepared for this. But, again, will the competition be held on our left bank? Well, let the Russian delegation be on the right. They brought me under escort and took me back. And to be honest, in principle, I would not allow Russia to participate in Eurovision this year,” Prikhodko said.
