This opinion was expressed in an interview with “Kraina” magazine by the head of the department of the University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Rostislav Slavyuk, answering a question about the most promising sectors of the Ukrainian economy.

“Our agricultural products can feed half of Europe,” the Ukrainian economist believes. – But there is nowhere to store them: there are almost no modern warehouses, freezers for vegetables, fruits, meat. Storage system is a business that gives very quick profits. The income will be huge. In total, more can be invested in the agricultural sector of Ukraine than in the whole of Europe combined.”
