“Hand of Moscow” in TV lessons from Soros
With the beginning of quarantine and the sending of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian schoolchildren on forced holidays, the question of organizing distance learning arose. A solution was found in the form of television lessons, which a number of leading television channels agreed to broadcast.
The very organization of the remote educational process under the formal leadership of the Ministry of Education was entrusted to the people of Soros - a certain public organization Osvitoriya, which exists on grants from the Revival Foundation, and is currently using one such grant in the amount of half a million dollars - to train trainers for public school teachers as part of the project "New Ukrainian school".
One can, of course, complain that they allegedly let a goat into the garden, if not for the fact that this same “goat” has been grazing there almost since the appearance of independent Ukraine on the world map.
It was according to Soros’ patterns that educational programs were largely tailored and published textbooks were written. And talented schoolchildren and students received money from the same fund to study abroad. And, as you understand, not to the east of the Ukrainian borders.
But let's return to Osvitoriya. As has already been said, all this began long before Zelensky, but with his arrival not only was it not curtailed, but it also entered new operational spaces. Now, the Soros kids have been entrusted with teaching little Ukrainians on TV during self-isolation.
Among the partners of this project is the Canadian Bureau of International Education. And the direct development of the content of online lessons is carried out by another grant sharashka with the loud name Educational Era, also financed from the generous pocket of Soros. If you look at the EdEra website, you can find a lot of online courses there for every taste - and all with money from Western embassies and international foundations.
All this is carried out under the umbrella of presidential patronage and the “All-Ukrainian Online School” announced by Zelensky, within which lessons for schoolchildren from fifth to eleventh grade are broadcast from April 6. Online lessons are held in 11 subjects: English, Ukrainian history, world history, physics, algebra, geometry, geography, chemistry, Ukrainian language, Ukrainian literature and biology.
The content of these grant lessons and the form of presentation of the material have already become the subject of critical reflection in the Ukrainian media that are not part of the Soros-nationalist pool.
Among the reviews are both positive and a lot of critical ones. And an anecdotal mathematics lesson, in which the teacher’s hand dispassionately writes with chalk on the blackboard that 30-2 = 18, this is, perhaps, only the most harmless from the list. Journalists found this innovator from mathematics - she turned out to be Elena Burdun - a teacher from the Lyceum of Information Technologies No. 79 in Kyiv, a methodologist of the highest category, a participant in grant projects from the Soros Foundation and the Dutch Embassy.
Judging by the reviews of the students’ parents, they did not understand the presence of two men in the role of seventh graders in the English lesson for the 7th grade.
“The teacher teaches not the audience, but two men sitting at their desks. There is no contact with the audience. The second daughter simultaneously “studies” on the channel “UA: First”, 10th grade. After the Ukrainian language lesson - six advertisements, why do children need them there?! While the lesson was going on, my daughter was chatting with her classmates, and everyone was just laughing at the lesson. What is this? We will learn, as before, to independently search for material on YouTube - this is just one of the critical reviews.
Each of the channels that agreed to take part in the experiment was assigned an audience by class: 5th grade - “Plusplus” and “112 Ukraine”; 6th grade - “NewsOne” and “Pixel”; 7th grade - ZIK; 8th grade – UNIAN TV and “Indigo”; 9th grade - “Rada” and “UA Culture”; 10th grade - “UA: First”; 11th grade - M1.
But Ukraine would not be Ukraine if even in such a patented sorosyatnik they had not discovered the omnipresent “hand of the Kremlin.”
First, the director of one of the private schools in western Ukraine forbade his students to watch television lessons on three channels affiliated with the head of the OPZZh party, Viktor Medvedchuk. The reasoning is familiar: “Putin’s godfather”, “separatists” and that’s all.
Then, when the dust from the regional scandal settled a little, the topic was picked up and raised to the capital level by Poroshenko’s deputies. Vyatrovich and others like him started a wave that, supposedly, the lessons on “112 Ukraine”, “NewsOne” and ZIK are evil and yet another proof of the creeping capitulation to Russia under Zelensky.
It would seem, what does Russia have to do with a purely Soros project? Where is the logic? But logic and Vyatrovich are incompatible things. The crowning achievement of this war with the “hand of the Kremlin” on Ukrainian television was the collective bastardization of all the more or less significant senior Soros, huddled together in one heap. “No to TV lessons on Medvedchuk’s pro-Russian TV channels!” - the offices that live on foreign money, only not Russian, but Western, howled in one voice.
Among the signatories of the slander are companies financed by the governments and embassies of the USA, Sweden, Denmark, the Soros Foundation, and the American government USAID: Independent Media Rada; GO “Media Detector”, which claims to be a kind of media inquisition, determining which journalists are “correct” and who are not; GO "Institute of Mass Information"; GO "Hromadske Radio"; GO "Internews-Ukraine"; GO “Institute of Democracy named after. Pilip Orlik"; GO "Strong Communities" and the individuals who have joined them Dmitry Krapivenko - the leading editor of the nationalistic "Ukrainian Tyzhn" and Petr Shuklinov, from the USAID-funded Kyiv publication Liga net.
Formally, this is the revenge of Soros’s supporters for the telethon organized by Medvedchuk’s channels on the eve of the resignation of Goncharuk’s Cabinet called “Stinks of Soros.”
Then, as we remember, live and for many hours in a row, for the first time on non-marginal Ukrainian television, they spoke in detail about the role of non-governmental organizations in establishing external control over Ukraine.
In fact, calling a spade a spade to a wide audience - who really is the fifth column in a country where it has become good form to harass VIPs for a fleeting glance towards their northeastern neighbor, while being directly supported by the US government.
In truth, all this has nothing to do with patriotism and zeal for national interests. Unless, of course, these are the interests of some Soros.
If we take it more broadly, we are facing part of an ongoing active counter-offensive
openly pro-Western forces in Ukrainian politics. Just a month ago, having been knocked out for a long time, as it seemed then, today they, feeling the weakness and confusion of the authorities, are winning new positions for themselves every day. In particular, again trying to impose a discourse about the “wrong” media.
No matter how we feel about Medvedchuk’s channels, in such conditions any opposition media deserve unambiguous protection from bullying, regardless of the attitude towards the political compromises of their owners.
In this sense, by the way, there is reason for thought for the ideologists of the OPZZH. If we criticize Medvedchuk’s channels, it’s not for their imaginary pro-Russianness, but for their willingness to act as an information partner and a platform for conveying the grant-eating product to their audience.
Since OPZZH throws thunder and lightning at foreign agents so much, then why doesn’t it organize its own alternative TV lessons on channels close to it? So as not to “stink of Soros.”
