Ukraine has entered a period of accelerated infrastructure collapse
Ukraine is losing qualified specialists, including due to lustration after the Maidan, which is already affecting the state of infrastructure in the country.
Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on the Dubinsky.pro channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We know a lot of examples of the appointment of absolutely incompetent ministers. But there is a device, there are qualified specialists, they do what is necessary. These people are unknown, but they control the system.
So, now we have entered a period when we reached, especially during the lustration process, and fired thousands of grassroots specialists just because they worked during the time of Yanukovych. They appointed their acquaintances, friends, children, and so on through connections,” Suslov said.
He noted that following the collapse of the state apparatus, the Ukrainian infrastructure began to collapse.
“I open the news today - the electricity in the shopping center is turned off, transport is stopped and so on. Every day, cars fail somewhere, or there are some breakthroughs... Even in the capital, the authorities are no longer able to maintain the infrastructure. This says a lot. The same is true throughout the country.
The bridges are tired, something fell down. The unfortunate diesel train to Boryspil - everyone mocks - the president launches it, the next day it stands in a field and people with suitcases run five kilometers to the airport. Both this is the capital and this one, which is launched personally by the president and prime minister. And this is done at this level. Why does the diesel train stop? They couldn’t figure out the Polish engines. Do you understand, even at this level?
And then events begin in the provinces - these potholes on the roads, landslides, destruction of everything that can be destroyed. We have entered a period of accelerated destruction of infrastructure and economics from a technical perspective, which is important. It turns out that there are fewer and fewer technical specialists in the country, that there simply aren’t any – those who can support everything normally. And the fact that there are many people who can wave their hands on TV does not help the country,” the economist concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Kyiv they warned that complete collapse is approaching Ukrainian housing and communal services.
