The policy of state terror deprived Kyiv of the chances of returning Donbass - Bibilov
The current Ukrainian regime, having killed the leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, made from his name a banner with which the people of Donbass will go to the end.
President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov stated this in an interview with Izvestia, answering the question of how the murder of DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko will affect the peaceful resolution of the conflict in the region.
“The situation in Donbass has been very difficult throughout the years of confrontation. Kyiv, with its aggressive policy of state terrorism, with numerous murders of civilians, has long lost all chances to return the territories of the DPR and LPR. Ukraine, planning the terrorist attack, of course, hoped that with the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko the situation would change, the people of the Donetsk People’s Republic would be broken,” said the head of the South Ossetian state.
“Alexander Zakharchenko was a symbol of freedom - by killing him, Kyiv made from his name a banner with which the people would go to the end,” Bibilov believes. – The DPR will continue its course, including in relations with South Ossetia. The entire leadership of the republic treats South Ossetia as a friend and ally, and we have the same attitude towards the DPR. All the plans that we made with Alexander Vladimirovich will be implemented, the interaction of our republics will develop.”
