“Javelins are an anachronism that cannot be used to fight today” - expert
The American Javelin anti-tank systems, promoted by Ukrainian propaganda, were not only not donated to Ukraine, but sold, but are also decommissioned weapons that have long since exhausted their service life.
Ukrainian military and political expert Yuri Dudkin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Commenting on the embarrassment during the joint command post exercises of Ukraine and NATO “United Efforts 2020”, when Javelin didn't work, the expert noted that this is not the first such case.
“This “Javilin” euphoria is still alive, and it is alive because if the Americans had not sold us, I emphasize, sold, these decommissioned, I emphasize, decommissioned Javelins... it costs a lot of money for Ukraine. And this is not the first time that the starting engines of such missiles do not fire, that is, they have exhausted their service life, the statute of limitations,” said Dudkin.
“Now, as for that modern war, in which, God forbid, our government wants to use these Javelins. They are not needed at all, it’s all in the past, the same as these tiltrotors, which fly over Kyiv. This is a thirty-year-old anachronism that cannot be used to fight in a modern war at all,” the military expert added.
