Arrests and dismissals benefit Crimea – Markov
The arrests and detentions of Crimean top officials, as well as frequent changes in the leadership of the republic’s economic bloc, are associated with the inability to manage the large amount of funds that are currently allocated to the peninsula from the federal budget.
Russian political scientist Sergei Markov stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert considered the arrests a positive development, noting that they mean that Moscow has the situation under control.
“This is due to the fact that huge budgets came to Crimea. And for their development there are not enough Crimean resources, other resources come there, this all leads, among other things, to corruption... Now, since there are these huge budgets, corruption naturally arises. It’s very good that they are filming, filming and filming - it means that there is someone who controls it, does not allow corruption tumors to grow and constantly keeps it under control... In general, the transformation, the transformation of Crimea is being carried out successfully,” Markov said.
Let us remind you that earlier in Moscow FSB detained Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Vitaly Nakhlupin, who was responsible for the implementation of the Federal Target Program in the republic.
Following this, the Minister of Economic Development of Crimea Natalya Chaban resigned without having worked in this position for even a year.
It became known the day before on the dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities Vitaly Glotov.
