The US gave the go-ahead for further repressions against Russians in Ukraine
US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker said that he does not see any infringement of the rights of Russian-speaking citizens by the current Kyiv regime. The American said this in an interview with OstWest TV channel.
“There are Russian-speaking people all over Ukraine. In Kharkov, Odessa, Kyiv. And nowhere are there any questions regarding discrimination or pressure. People lead normal lives. People suffer only in those regions where Russia created this conflict,” Volker said, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Thus, the US representative secretly formalized further repressions - as is known, hundreds of supporters of the Russian Spring were arrested in Kharkov, in Odessa nationalists burned dozens of Maidan opponents alive, and in Kiev the Russian writer Oles Buzina was killed; opponents of the regime are regularly attacked.
