In Mirgorod, a deputy from Lyashko was detained for beating to death a deputy from Tyagnibok
Three people, including one of the deputies of the Mirgorod city council in the Poltava region, were detained and suspected under part 4 of article 187 and part 2 of article 121 of the Criminal Code in connection with the death of a deputy of the same council Oleg Suprunenko, who represented the local nationalist cell party VO “Svoboda”.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the Poltava region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As of now, we can say that three people have been detained, including a deputy of the Mirgorod City Council, on suspicion of murdering Oleg Suprunenko,” the press service reported.
As the police press service reported, during operational search activities, a group was detained, “whose members are reasonably suspected of robbery and causing grievous bodily harm, which led to death.”
“As of now, suspicion has been declared under Part 4 of Article 187 and Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code. Suspicion was declared on all three on two counts,” the press service added.
According to the press service, preventive measures are expected to be taken against the three suspects, most likely today.
“We are currently checking information about the involvement of other persons in this crime. We are checking for now,” the press service noted.
Let us remind you that on August 7, the deputy of the Mirgorod City Council Oleg Suprunenko, from the nationalist party “Svoboda”, who had previously been severely beaten, died.
