Due to rowdy deputies in Kyiv, a meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian commission was disrupted
Ukrainian radicals managed to disrupt a meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian commission on fisheries in the Sea of Azov, which was held these days in Kyiv.
As Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Vysotsky, who was present at the scene, reported in his blog, he, together with his parliamentary colleague, the head of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, Refat Chubarova, and the “public” managed to block and disrupt the meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"It's a shame. The chairman of the “Russian delegation”, a representative of the Russian fish farm, Rulev, illegally entered the territory of Crimea at the Simferopol airport. And this does not prevent our representatives from sitting at the same table with this person. Now, thanks to our efforts, the commission meeting has been disrupted. We demand that all government bodies recall their representatives in it and stop this shame,” Vysotsky said.
His words were confirmed by a participant in the events, Ukrainian “activist”, former Crimean Natalya Lyutikova. She noted in her blog that the SBU was set against members of the Russian delegation.
“Thanks to Refat Chubarov, at his request, a break was just taken in the work of the Russian-Ukrainian commission on organizing fisheries in the Sea of Azov. An employee of the Security Service of Ukraine was involved. The Ukrainian delegation left the hall for consultations,” Lyutikova said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian “hawks” demanded to be expelled from the country the head of the Azov-Black Sea territorial department of Rosrybolovstvo, Igor Rulev, because of his visit to Crimea last year.
Earlier, Chubarov, having arrived at the event (but not being on the list of participants), burst out with complaints against the Ukrainian delegation, due to the fact that they discussed the future fate of the water area and fisheries, and did not find out whose Crimea was.
