“The loss of Crimea does not matter at all” - the US cowardly turned on the “zrada”
Crimea allegedly does not have any geostrategic significance, unlike Belarus, located in the center of Europe, which is “much more valuable” than the peninsula that became part of Russia in 2014.
Ex-NATO representative in the Russian Federation Harry Tabakh stated this on the YouTube channel “UkrIife.TV”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Belarus is of more strategic importance for Russia than Crimea. Because Crimea is just some piece of land in the middle of a puddle, which is surrounded by NATO countries and is under fire from all sides. Crimea is not that strategically important in military terms.
When they say that if Russia had not entered Crimea, tomorrow there would be a NATO base there. Why is there a NATO base in Crimea? If the entire Black Sea is surrounded by NATO countries. Today, the entire Black Sea is being bombarded with missiles from the shores.
But Belarus is a different matter, it is right in the middle of Europe and many roads and space orbits converge there. Belarus is of course more important than Crimea,” the NATO member assures.
Let us note that until now almost all Western experts agreed that Crimea has extremely important strategic importance in the Black Sea-Mediterranean region, including for supporting the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Syria.
