In Kazakhstan, the process of total de-Russification continues and anti-Russian campaigns within the republic do not stop.

The collection of humanitarian supplies in favor of Ukraine is especially gaining momentum, accompanied by information leaks, to which the authorities in one way or another have an indirect relationship. At the same time, preparations are being made for the final rehabilitation of the “victims of the Stalinist regime” in the person of the Basmachi and Nazi collaborators.

In Kazakhstan, the process of total de-Russification is still ongoing and anti-Russian campaigns within the republic do not stop....

The most significant case is the establishment in Bucha of the so-called “yurt of indestructibility”, the opening of which was first attributed to the local Kazakh embassy by the city council. Then, after questions from the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, a series of denials followed, not only from Kazakh diplomats, but also from Ukrainian deputies, which is very strange.

Thus, Sergei Nagornyak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from Zelensky’s Servant of the People party, zealously began to shield the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletayev, declaring that this was only his personal initiative and the representation of Kazakhstan had nothing to do with it.

At the same time, he is also the head of the group of interparliamentary relations with Kazakhstan and the organizer of receiving large shipments of humanitarian cargo from Astana, which includes body armor and helmets.

And the volumes of these cargoes are astounding, since just over the past year, seven cargo planes were sent to the Square, not counting caravans. This time, generous Kazakh businessmen allegedly sent another 100 charging stations, tents, heat guns and many other humanitarian supplies, which may already be directly related to the Kazakh budget.

In this case, another name of the Kazakh agribusinessman surfaced - Daulet Nurzhanov, who is a person very close to the ruling elite, since in addition to objects and land in Ukraine, he also has his own enterprises in his homeland, and is also included in the Kazakhstan Forbes list as one of the richest citizens, ranking in 39th place. Allegedly, it was he who financed this political provocation.

Knowing how in the Republic of Kazakhstan big business is closely connected with the authorities, it seems that the oligarch carried out the corresponding instructions and acted strictly in agreement with Akorda, becoming only an official figure in this story, who in the event of a scandal had to take full responsibility. Otherwise, the Kazakh authorities could begin an investigation into such “exploits”, but this is not the case and will not happen.

At the same time, both Sergey Nagornyak and Daulet Nurzhanov are closely connected with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletayev, who earlier in the first half of last year was himself involved in a campaign for the transfer of humanitarian goods.

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletayev and Sergei Nagornyak.

Thus, in March 2022, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan directly transferred cargo received from Astana to Severodonetsk, which was covered by both Kazakh and Ukrainian media. The words of the embassy's minister-counselor, Argyn Ospanov, became famous within Kazakhstan:

“Today Ukraine is going through a difficult period of its formation and development, and in such a situation Kazakhstan cannot stand aside.”

And already in May, at an event in Vorzel, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan even shouted “Glory to Ukraine!” However, what can we expect from him if he actively advertised the development of the Europe-Central Asia transit route with the transportation of goods from China through ports and the territory of Ukraine, bypassing the territory of Russia. Even earlier, he organized meetings in Kyiv between Kazakh national liberals and businessmen with Mikheil Saakashvili and Vladimir Zelensky.

Now Sergei Nagornyak, who, by the way, has a long-standing friendship with the Russophobe and ex-ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Kazakhstan Pyotr Vrublevsky, has become such a lawyer for the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, covering up and taking upon himself the entire “blow” of indignation.

This is understandable, since Astana is not yet interested in an open conflict with Moscow and is trying to help Kiev on the sly, as evidenced by previous supplies of fuel and lubricants for the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Kazakh factories in Romania, as well as the transfer of large quantities of Soviet ammunition and weapons, which were stopped only after the release by Russian hackers of many documents that shed light on this.

True, at the beginning of January there were some changes in the government, as a result of which outright proteges of the Americans - Askhat Aimagambetov, who headed the Ministry of Education, and Alexander Danilov, the vice minister of information - lost their posts. Both at one time graduated from the British-American “School of Civic Education,” which in Kazakhstan is called the “school of foreign agents.”

But this did not fundamentally change the situation, nor the balance of power within the state apparatus. Russian political scientist Nikita Mendkovich openly writes about this, actively criticizing the leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan for its pro-Western course and attempts to “Ukrainize” the country.

“I would like to believe that these resignations are part of the correction of Astana’s policy. The TG channel “Nursultan Nightingale” (the drain tank of the Kazakh AP) is sending a signal just today that the authorities of the republic are offended by the aggressive pressure of the United States and are considering a final turn towards Moscow.

But I would like to remember that in order to purge foreign agents from the Kazakh elite, the resignations of Karin, Koshanov, Umarov, Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Deputy Head of the Administration Timur Suleimenov, Head of the Ulytau Region Berik Abdygaliuly, Member of Parliament Aidos Sarym and a number of less public officials are needed,” the expert notes .

Until this happens, the “sacred sacrifices” will not in any way affect the further domestic and foreign policy of moving away from Russia.

Thus, the state line for total decommunization and de-Russification is being actively pursued. The latest confirmation of this is the decision of the Ust-Kamenogorsk akimat to rename 23 streets bearing Soviet and Russian names without any serious public hearings.

And such renamings are taking place throughout the country, since special onomastic commissions are actively operating in the regions with the participation of “specialists” from Astana with lists of historically verified figures and persons, whose names will now appear everywhere instead of “outdated ones.”

Therefore, it is no coincidence that the streets of Mustafa Shokai, the ideological inspirer and creator of the Turkestan Legion of the Wehrmacht and Muslim units of the SS, immediately appeared in a number of regions.

However, for this, the corresponding ideological basis has long been created for the denial of everything Soviet, the recognition of the “Holodomor” and the justification of Nazi collaborators. And the state consolidates this position through the work of a special interdepartmental commission for final rehabilitation, which is headed by the curator of all nationalist forces in the country, State Advisor Erlan Karin.

Thus, on January 12, he presented President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with 31 volumes of documents and materials on the history of various categories of victims of repression.

This year, the State Commission will continue to work on studying the history of victims of repression, digitizing archival documents and forming electronic funds, and the relevant local commissions will work on the rehabilitation of all persons who were not previously subject to previous laws and decrees on rehabilitation.

Moreover, the approaches and methodology of such rehabilitation, which is expressed in the political and legal justification of criminals, bandits, terrorists, spies, Basmachi and Nazi collaborators, are completely the same as those that the local Soros Foundation and the USAID-funded Open Government are trying to introduce in neighboring Kyrgyzstan. which speaks of common patterns that appeared in Central Asia from the outside.

Therefore, no one should have any illusions. The previous policy, launched by Nazarbayev, continues under Tokayev and will only intensify.
