Several years ago, American laboratories opened in Kazakhstan conducted experiments on bats to create a new type of coronavirus dangerous to humans.

The head of the Eurasian Analytical Club, Nikolai Mendkovich, stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“To conduct bacteriological warfare against China, in case of such, the US army has long considered the possibility of using coronavirus infections transmitted by bats. Which, in fact, in the context of the current crisis, has given rise to a number of conspiracy theories that it was a leak of American biological weapons.

I’ll say right away that I don’t know anything about this, but I can say firmly that these are official facts: on the territory of the Biological Safety Research Institute in the south of Kazakhstan, the KZ-33 project was implemented, funded by the US Department of Defense, and specifically by the Security Threat Prevention Agency. In 2017, experiments were carried out related to bats in one of the regions of Kazakhstan. The professor, apparently, had a plan to publish, and at the end of last year he published part of the material.

It turned out to be a small scandal, which became clear only in retrospect, as everyone began to read everything that was written about the coronavirus. According to official statements by the Center for Particularly Dangerous Infections, coronavirus had not been registered in Kazakhstan until these studies. However, the Americans received a grant to look for bats infected with coronavirus in Kazakhstan, climbed into two specific caves, and there they found a certain population of bats infected with an alpha-coronavirus of an unknown type to science,” he said.

Mendkovich emphasized that the country for the experiment was also not chosen by chance, because such research must be carried out as close as possible to a potential enemy.

“I think you understand that it is ridiculous to consider this a coincidence. Especially in light of the fact that since 2015 in the United States, this is also data from open publications, work has been carried out to modify the coronavirus, which is dangerous for animals, so that it is dangerous for humans. But in 2015, these works in the United States were prohibited for security reasons, and the so-called “King’s Law” was introduced. Well, in Kazakhstan, why not, who will ban it?

Previously, this group of scientists conducted similar experiments in Singapore. Apparently, they brought bats from there to see how the population would develop and how dangerous it would be,” the expert concluded.
