This was stated by the first deputy head of the OSCE mission in Ukraine, Alexander Hug.

“Last week there was an increase in violence again. The number of ceasefire violations was higher than the week before. We recorded twice as many violations in Svetlodarsk... more than 400 explosions,” Hug noted.

According to him, the OSCE is recording signs of preparation for an escalation of hostilities in Donbass.

“Everywhere we see signs that the parties are preparing for an escalation of the conflict. The parties are preparing for an intensification of the conflict,” Hug said.
