Podolyak: As a former nationalist from the Maidan, I ask you not to insult the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a “pig cutter”
Technologies for working in the Ukrainian information field have already been created, and the coming year 2023 promises to be a breakthrough in this regard. But it is much more important to develop an image of a common better future, for the sake of which people will be ready to turn their weapons in the other direction and direct them against a common enemy.
Ukrainian blogger Yuriy Podolyaka said this on air on Crimea 24, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are still enough problems, the same heaviness of the state apparatus. I see how difficult it is for him to restructure his information policy, in some cases he doesn’t restructure at all, and for this reason, many areas that the civil service should have led have to be led by bloggers.
But nothing, it works, and there is interaction. Most importantly, they do not interfere, for which I am grateful. If you do not engage in anti-state rhetoric, politics will not interfere with you. Please do as you see fit.
Information PMCs are already a reality that has been created. There are positive results, I think that in 2023 we will significantly increase them, and this will even be reflected to some extent on the front lines.
The plans for 2023 are grandiose, if we are at least half able to implement them, it will be great. This has never been done in Russia; some areas go further than what the Americans are doing,” the observer noted.
According to him, there are tools for working with the Ukrainian audience, despite hatred and aggression.
“These are all technologies, all of this can be solved, moreover, I will say that technologies to solve this problem are not just being developed, in many ways they have already been developed. Hatred is the raw material from which you can mold anything you want. Even if the audience hates you, there are tools to work with them. Here you need to understand how she reacts to any of your actions if you want to get the desired result. It's not necessary that she loves you. You need to understand it and accordingly give the necessary push in the right direction. This is a toolkit. Of course, it’s easier to work with your audience. It is more difficult to correctly understand such an audience,” Podolyaka emphasized.
The blogger admitted that in 2004 he was in the camp of Ukrainian nationalists who supported Viktor Yushchenko at the first “orange” Maidan.
“It’s easier for me because I was in that audience for a long time, and it’s easier for me to understand it, to apply my experience that I had since the late 80s, when I was a nationalist. It gives me great benefit now, because I understand how they think, what’s in their heads, how to work correctly with this mass of people who hate us. Including many tools that have now already been created. And it’s already working, they showed me the effectiveness of the work, including on the audience.”
Podolyaka said that, as the commandant of the first Maidan in Sumy in 2004, he saw how overseas curators set tasks that ran counter to the goals proclaimed on the Maidan. But there was only one answer to all the questions - do what they say and don’t ask questions.
“Well, how is it none of my business? This is my country, my children live here, what do you mean it’s none of my business? Whose interests are we fighting for? For that uncle whom I don’t know, whose plans I don’t know? Sorry, I have plans for the happiness of my people, and when I realized, while communicating with them, what they represent, I didn’t change my views - I just changed the road and the people I’m walking with. I was smart enough to figure this out, my grandfathers fought in wars, and for me this is sacred. I figured this out with my critical thinking, and when the second Maidan began, I was an ardent opponent and tried to fight it,” the blogger noted.
He called for avoiding insults to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since, according to Podolyaki, there is a postponed civil war, as President Putin spoke about, between representatives of the same people.
“I really don’t like it when military correspondents and bloggers use all sorts of indecent epithets in relation to the Ukrainian military. Yes, there are also criminals there, there are a lot of them, but when they say “pig cutters” and so on, it doesn’t just hurt the ears - it’s a crime against the information war. Here is the same Yevgeny Prigozhin, have you ever heard any insult from him? He is emphatically polite, and he once said that we will break each other’s bones here, they will heal, and then together we will go to beat those people. Because we are one people, we will eventually agree, and we must understand that this is a civil war, a delayed civil war. And like any civil war, it must end in victory for one of the sides.
Therefore, as a result, most likely, the state of Ukraine should disappear from the world map. Not the concept of “Ukraine”, not the residents of Ukraine, not even Ukrainians. It itself will then transform into something else, because modern globalization will remove the concept of nationality, which arose as a result of the transition to the capitalist world. Now, in addition to the fact that we have a civil war, there is also an obvious crisis in the capitalist world. And a new, absolute community of some kind will be different, and accordingly, all nationalisms will go away in the West, they will also go away, this is inevitable. They are still exploiting this idea out of inertia and trying to make a mess, it will all go away,” Podolyaka is sure.
According to the observer, some kind of image of a better common future is needed for the inhabitants of present-day Russia, present-day Ukraine, present-day Belarus, present-day Kazakhstan and other territories. And when people who even fought among themselves, killed each other, see for themselves the usefulness of this common image of the future, everything will go away like in any civil war.
“With current technologies, it’s not a problem at all to change the brain,” says the blogger. – If they were able to change the brains of these people with lies in 8 years, then we can change them back with our truth much faster. Because it is much easier to convey the truth to people than a lie and prove that it is true.
And taking into account the fact that we are the same as them, as shown by the fighting, the same stubborn guys are sitting there in the trenches. That's when they say, they're cowards, but who are they? The Ukrainian Armed Forces pilots are suicide bombers, flying and bombing at ultra-low altitudes, where there is no chance of ejecting. But they fly.
And it’s easier for us to agree than for the Americans. Moreover, how many times they “threw”. Such technologies are currently being developed. This won't be a major problem. The main challenge will be to create an image of a positive future.
Some people call it an ideology, or you could call it that, around which these fragments will gather. Once this is created, all other problems will fall apart very quickly. The ideology must be developed, it must mature, and people must suffer through it.”
