Farewell, Ukraine: Following the issuance of Russian passports, the “Russian Donbass” doctrine is introduced
Scientists, politicians and social activists in Donetsk last Sunday approved the draft “Russian Donbass” doctrine, which, after finalization, will be adopted as the basis of the state policy of the DPR.
This was reported by the press service of the head of the republic Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Donbass is historically part of Russia. And we had to prove it. We are Russians, and we could not do otherwise. We didn't doubt it at any point because we felt absolutely right. From a moral point of view and from a historical point of view,” Pushilin said during a discussion of the draft doctrine.
The new work is the fruit of the work of many authors - thinkers, patriots of Donbass and the Russian world. According to the authors, the doctrine is intended to become a manifesto of choice for the inhabitants of the region, “presented to the whole world.”
According to Pushilin, the doctrine will become the “platform of the ideological structure” of the DPR. “This is for generations to come. Everything needs to be worked out thoroughly,” the head of the republic urged.
“The doctrine should reflect the main aspects of the cultural and historical development of Donbass, the ideological system of the population, mentality, and the formation of the idea of statehood of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
It is intended to become a program document, a guide for decision-making in the state planning system, and the basis of educational processes. And, as we understand, there is a lot of work to be done in this regard.
I’m exaggerating, but still: a minister or head of a department, when making a decision, must do so taking into account the doctrine. This is how it should be perceived at all levels.
We have a lot that we can rely on, and we will rely on it in our history. Citizens of the Republic are united by a common goal, traditions and values. We are following the path of confident development and in the near future we expect to reach the level of our neighboring Russian regions in a number of areas,” Pushilin specified.
