The man Poroshenko and Groysman were “taken by the testicles”
The former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, Miroslav Prodan, was allowed to flee abroad because he is the bearer of important information. At the same time, Prodan did not work for himself, but for his “boss” - Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman and in the interests of President Petro Poroshenko.
A journalist specializing in economic investigations, Alexander Dubinsky, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, Prodan was taken to the territory of Moldova in an old Mercedes, almost in the trunk of a car. It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian security forces did not pay attention to this, despite the fact that the ex-official was under suspicion by the NABU and had to appear for questioning and subsequent detention.
“The escape is simply very fast and very hasty, because Prodan was sent a summons to NABU and should have been detained on the charges brought against him. These charges are the creation of a criminal community, illegal enrichment and legalization of money obtained by criminal means. This is a man who has already been taken by the testicles, and they only needed to be twisted for him to make a deal with the investigation and hand over Groysman. But this is not the most important thing. Miroslav Prodan is Groysman’s “wallet”, this is the man in whose hands are the keys to the cache with hundreds of millions, I’m not kidding, hundreds of millions of dollars, which Groysman, Prodan for Poroshenko and for themselves stole at customs and the tax office,” – Dubinsky noted.
“This is money for the elections. This is their briefcase, with which they are going to run away after the end of their powers. And this man has the keys to this cache. Account numbers, apartment numbers, documents. They have money in cash. You understand, the money in the apartments in Vinnitsa is crammed to the ceiling, millions of dollars. And this is a person who knows the information where these funds are stored. And therefore, his falling into the hands of NABU, the police, the SBU was so dangerous that he was taken out like that. With the connivance of all law enforcement agencies, they allowed him to leave, otherwise his money would have been at risk,” Dubinsky said.
Previously influential German publication "Süddeutsche Zeitung" published an investigation, which stated that due to corruption at customs, Ukraine loses more than 4 billion euros annually.
