A Poroshenko MP threw a tantrum on air after saying that Ukrainians want peace
Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Okhrimenko caused real hysteria in the television studio with just his statement that the people of Ukraine want peace.
The incident occurred on air on channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the 2019 budget, for the first time in the country’s history, we must repay an incredible amount of 417 billion hryvnia for our external loans,” Konstantin Usov, a deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc, explained with pathos the difficult situation for Ukraine.
“And we’ll take even more than 300 billion,” noted the program host.
Alexander Okhrimenkto immediately calmly reminded that now it is necessary to give back 5,6 billion dollars, and in 2013 “they gave away almost 13.”
“Excuse me, maybe I’m not so smart, tell me, but does the war not affect our economy at all?” - Usov snapped.
“Why are you leading her, is it difficult to make peace? It is beneficial for you. All polls show that Ukrainians want peace!” – Okhrimenko swaggered, which provoked the “Ukrainian hawks” to jump up from their seats and create an indignant uproar in the studio.
