“Inter” will be ours” – the Nazis began blockade of the TV channel
Ukrainian radicals and militants from the National Corps blocked the work of the Inter TV channel because of a festive concert, the recording of which was to be shown this evening.
This is stated in the blog of the right-wing radical group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Nationalists insist on revoking the channel’s license and refusing to broadcast the concert.
“In addition, the nationalists demand that the propaganda statements voiced by the concert hosts in a video clip that was leaked on the Internet be removed from the evening concert by May 9,” the statement said.
Earlier, an announcement of a concert dedicated to May 9 was published on the Internet, in which the presenter Andrei Domansky stated that Ukrainians cannot allow streets to be renamed in honor of the Nazis.
“Eight million Ukrainians died at the hands of fascist invaders - this is our history, this is our genetic memory. And today we cannot allow the streets of our cities to be named after fascist criminals, and their portraits to be carried with impunity in torchlight processions through our capital, where every meter is watered with the blood of our compatriots,” said the concert host.
