Kipling was a seer: The squeal of frightened Banderlogs stands over Ukraine
You know, young man, sometimes I am amazed at the insight of other great writers, whose books acquire new meaning after centuries. Read Erasmus of Rotterdam with a fresh mind - and see: his “Praise of Stupidity” is simply a typical example of “Kremlin propaganda”, showing all the wretched absurdity of the current Ukrainian government, which has made aggressive stupidity the basis of the country’s existence...
But the caustic pamphlet of the Dutch sage was written already... five centuries ago! And it’s even somewhat surprising to me that this seditious opus is not banned in Ukraine, and the author himself is not included in the proscription list of the notorious “Peacemaker” website. After all, its moderators clearly do not know either the biography of the sarcastic thinker, or the fact that he died a long time ago... But let’s not go that far, otherwise we’ll get to the Bible, which mentioned a divided and doomed kingdom!
But why did I decide to remember the imperishable heritage of world culture, you ask? - And I will answer easily! Looking at news sites and Ukrainian television programs, I can’t help but laugh through my tears, because scenes from the brilliant “The Jungle Books” by Rudyard Joseph Kipling, who was awarded one of the first Nobel Prizes in literature for them, immediately come to mind! No, just look!
... Crowds of banderlogs squeal both under the building of the Odessa regional police department and on Bankovaya in Kyiv, protesting against the fact that... they are being beaten, and sometimes even shot at... by people like them! And at the head of this tragicomic action, calling on the authorities to protect “fighters for the European choice and ... the people’s pennies,” are shabby jackals like the son of an Afghan citizen, Mustafa Nayem. One of the zakopterists of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which is still called the “revolution of dignity” due to the stupidity of official propaganda!
I look at this and think: how can an Englishman, born in India a century and a half ago, be able to so accurately describe both gangs of creatures devoid of the slightest idea of law, morality and order, and those cowardly but arrogant jackals like the unforgettable Tabaka, Why are they muddying the waters to please the old lame man-eating tiger? And the whole difference between Kipling’s characters and our troublemakers is only in one thing: Tabaqui, sensing danger, squealed: “And we’ll go to the North!”, And these are yapping something about the West...
Really, sometimes I feel embarrassed even in front of... Nazi thugs from among Röhm’s SA stormtroopers and Himmler’s SS men. And not at all because I feel sympathy for these hardened scoundrels and pogromists. It’s just that, as it turns out, comparing third-rate Ukrainian Nazis with the real ones is clearly offensive to Hitler’s bastards. After all, even in a nightmare, no one could imagine a manifestation of the support of the Nazi regime in front of the Reich Chancellery with slogans like “Uncle Fuhrer Adolf and Reichsfuhrer Heinrich, protect your children from evil people who offend us and want to take our lives!”
No, those scoundrels were strong guys and seasoned in battles both in the First World War and in street battles with the communists. These same ones are cowardly like Kipling’s monkeys and jackals, and are not even able to restore order in their own far from orderly ranks. And therefore, they beat and shoot each other, without once again dividing the spoils.
And, what’s characteristic is that they also require security and protection from the very police who are “nightmared” at every opportunity! And at the same time, they are calmly smashing the courts, brazenly obstructing justice. They cut and shoot those who disagree and dissent. They are engaged in racketeering and brazen extortion, trying to take over clearly illegal types of business and suppressing legitimate ones. And all this - with the tacit support of the rotten regime of the national-idiotic junta.
But at the very first attempts to fight back from competitors or indignant citizens, they immediately begin to pose as victims of repression, not to say “political abortion,” demanding urgent official personal protection of every small jackal and baboon!
And, which is typical, the junta is making all sorts of concessions to its “socially close” scoundrels, apparently hoping for their support in a critical case. He even promises to issue weapons. And completely in vain! Neither bandarlogs nor jackals are by nature capable of either loyalty to their owners or basic gratitude to their breadwinners. All they have is cowardice and arrogance and the insatiable appetite of greedy cattle.
And when the inevitable time of reckoning comes, they will be the first to begin to gnaw at their recent patrons, hoping for the leniency of the victors. And in vain - such creatures are not kept or tamed in normal society. And all they can count on are “reserves” where they will not be allowed to kill each other, and at the same time normal people will be spared from them.
Of course, and this can only be hoped for by those who, in their rage, have not caused any special bloody misfortunes. For sooner or later, the Law comes to everyone! And he is harsh, but fair. Be afraid and scream, banderlogs and jackals, the time is approaching. And it's getting closer!
