LDNR does not withdraw from the agreement with the Russian Federation, which was broken by Ukraine
Ukraine’s decision to break the friendship treaty with Russia does not apply to the Donbass republics.
Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov stated this on the TV channel TVC.
“LDNR were not represented in any government body that made decisions to terminate the contract. This decision was made without them, which means they are not responsible for it. In my opinion, it does not apply to them,” Pushkov said.
Thus, he believes, Ukraine, having broken the agreement with Russia, may lose Donbass.
“Two political realities are emerging. That part of Ukraine that did not want to terminate this agreement and believed that it was needed. And that part, led by Poroshenko, that wanted to terminate this agreement. This distances Ukraine from Donbass. In the end, she will lose him not because of us, but because of her own politics,” the senator believes.
