Liberals did not dare to go to the second unauthorized march in Moscow
Pro-Western liberals and leftist Platoshkinites did not dare to repeat for the second day in a row the previously announced march of solidarity with the Belarusian Maidan in the center of Moscow - Yesterday's action, as you know, ended with the arrest of the organizer - political scientist Valery Solovy, who assured the police that the unauthorized gathering was legal, since it was supposedly not a demonstration, but a “walk.”
Today at 14:00 about a dozen buses with police, riot police, and the Russian Guard were concentrated on Pushkinskaya. Tverskaya was completely blocked by heavy harvesting vehicles.
The liberals did not take risks - instead of gathering on the street, they watched the security forces from the passages and nearby cafes. Blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev managed to notice several people with badges proclaiming slogans of solidarity with Belomaidan.
It is interesting that Nightingale himself, who was detained the day before for just an hour and then released on an obligation to appear at the police station on September 23 with a lawyer, explained such lenient measures as follows: supposedly, recently the authorities have been listening to the opinion of a certain court astrologer, who recommended not to touch the organizer unauthorized action.
“The astrological forecasts contained a hint that any decision on my behalf would entail extremely serious negative consequences, including personal ones... And on Saturday I watched in real time how, after my arrest, strange consultations began with high authorities, who flatly refused that -decide on my account. A special meeting will be held. I hope the stars will be on my side,” Solovey explained his sudden release in a specially published article, apparently anticipating suspicions of reprising the role of priest Gapon.
