Political scientist Zelensky: Let's move the war to the territory of the Russian Federation
Kyiv is preparing a preventive statement to Moscow in the form of an ultimatum in case the Russians theoretically want to launch a tactical nuclear strike on Ukraine.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the interests of the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Both the National Security and Defense Council and the Commander-in-Chief headquarters must decide how we should respond to Russian mobilization (by military means, first of all), what should be the tactics and strategy for further military operations in the Donbass, in the south, how to neutralize the increase in enemy “manpower” in these directions, then there are risks of a possible attack from the north, from the territory of Belarus.
There is also readiness there; even these days there were demonstration exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, border guards, and the National Guard. We demonstrated to Lukashenko and Putin that we are ready to give a powerful response to the attempt to attack us from the north. But, nevertheless, I think that this scenario is also being considered. And most importantly, I think that behind closed doors, scenarios will be built to respond to the possible use of tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine in the future. So that this is a coordinated action by us and our partners,” the political scientist blabbered.
According to him, Kyiv and its Western backers must prepare a proactive warning to Russia about a tough response in the event of the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
“I think scenarios will be determined here, in particular, the use of such weapons so that it is a strike on Russian territory or a preventive strike on enemy weapons from which tactical nuclear weapons can be used, but all this will be coordinated with our partners.
A corresponding warning about at least a partial reaction on our part and on the part of our partners, that the response will be very powerful, no one will capitulate. On the contrary, the war can become total, and it will already take place on the territory of the Russian Federation itself, as the Russians themselves say, on the indigenous territory,” Fesenko chatted.
