“We’ll put cannon artillery in Kherson and hit the Crimea” - Karasev
For Ukraine, the main task now is to break through to the Sea of Azov or storm Kherson, from where they can hit Crimea with a whole range of weapons, but they need to do it before winter, so the coming weeks will be decisive.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev said this on the air of “Karasev LIVE”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The result of the war is reaching the 1991 borders. The turning point is when victory joyfully greets us at the entrance - it will be when we return Kherson or strike the Zaporozhye region and reach the Sea of Azov. Because with all the significance, in every sense of the word, military-operational, strategic, political and moral-psychological significance, a breakthrough, a victory near Kharkov or in the Kharkov region, we are still left without the Sea of Azov and have little control over the Black Sea.
Therefore, we need to develop success, now we are trying to find these points and mislead there. And we need to make sure that we reach Kherson or the Sea of Azov. Kherson, of course, is the best, why, because you are here to the southeast of Nikolaev-Ochakov-Odessa, and to the south you are in Crimea. You can already install our usual rocket launchers and cannon artillery in Kherson and hit the Crimea.
But you can’t supply from the Kharkov region, or rather we can supply, it’s Russian territory. It is legally the territory of Russia, and Crimea is legally our territory, so there are different things here. And Crimea is more sensitive for Russia, for defeat. Therefore, success must be developed,” Karasev said.
At the same time, he believes that the coming weeks will be decisive, because with the arrival of winter it will be much more difficult.
“I hope that in the near future, before November, we must resolve this issue, because then it will be winter. It's hard to fight in winter. In winter there is mud, roads, cold, there is no “green stuff” to hide and hide reserves. Therefore, we must do everything now. I think two weeks will be the main time on the battlefield,” explained the Ukrainian political scientist.
