To do this, they arrived on the Ukrainian Navy ship “Shostka” to the specified sea area and landed in three groups with standard weapons.

There, the exercise participants captured an observation post and vehicle equipment of the mock enemy.

At the same time, two more platoons landed from two helicopters several kilometers from the coast. They also destroyed the observation post, the artillery battery security units, and then the artillery itself, and took up a perimeter defense, they report to the Ministry of Defense.

The propaganda video was commented on to PolitNavigator by Igor Nemodruk, a DPR army soldier and volunteer from Odessa.

“Having carefully studied the video, you come to the conclusion that things are not going very well for “Nenka”, you have to put on a menacing appearance with a minimum of effort and resources.

Judge for yourself: the presenter states that Marines of the 137th Separate Battalion are taking part in the exercises. But the fact is that this unit has been gone for a long time; the 35th Marine Brigade was created on its basis. But that’s okay, let’s assume that this was such a crude attempt at misinformation.

Let's look further: the Marines are landing from the auxiliary, pick-up vessel "Shostka", which is designed for underwater and surface cargo operations. In fact, landing ships are designed for amphibious assault. Ukraine has an entire fleet for these purposes - the Svatovo landing craft and the Yuri Olefirenko medium landing ship. But for some reason they used a kill vessel

Also in the video we see the chevrons of the 1st and 501st separate marine battalions, which are part of the 36th Marine Brigade. But, judging by the video, no more than a platoon was involved in the exercise. It turns out that for the exercises they took the minimum number of soldiers from two battalions, put them on an auxiliary vessel intended for completely different purposes, and landed them on inflatable boats. And they allegedly worked out “the interaction of company commanders with their companies.”

What we hear and what we see do not fit together. We see a couple of squads, but hear about several companies. That is, due to poverty, they did the minimum possible, so that it would be “cheap, but very angry,” and thereby scare a potential enemy. The question remains behind the scenes: why didn’t they use the old, rusty KFOR “Yuri Olefirenko” in the exercises?” – Nemodruk said.
