Kuchma’s son-in-law’s TV channel continues to pour dirt on Crimea
Owned by Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk, son-in-law of ex-president Leonid Kuchma, the ICTV channel aired a new story about the horrors of the “Russian occupation” of Crimea.
Ukrainian propagandists, on the one hand, admit that the population on the peninsula, despite the blockade declared by Kiev, is growing rapidly. However, the increase in the number of residents on ICTV is explained by the “settlement of Crimea by ethnic Russians.” At the same time, Ukrainian propaganda is silent that ethnic Russians constituted the majority on the peninsula even during Ukrainian times, and this was recorded by the population census.
“During the first two years of occupation, about 100 thousand Crimeans were forced to leave the peninsula. Now this figure could reach two million. But, despite the mass departure of local residents, the population of the peninsula is growing every day. According to Secret Front sources, the number of residents of Sevastopol has tripled - from 340 thousand to almost a million people. After all, the occupiers are actively populating Crimea with ethnic Russians,” the story says.
