Nayem's friend was trolled harshly in the Rada
The head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, Nazar Kholodnytsky, during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, said that he sees People's Deputy Sergei Leshchenko as his successor, answering his similar question, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with a link to the Kiev channel 112 Ukraine.
During Nazar Kholodnitsky’s speech, Sergei Leshchenko addressed him with a question:
“Do you confirm the contents of those messages that were published last night in the media, which set out the content of your meetings, including with the developers of Cherry, with people’s deputies, where they discussed helping them evade responsibility or searches and thus actually switching sides the accused instead of protecting the interests of the state. Who do you see as your successor after the investigation may have reached its conclusion?” Leshchenko asked.
To which Kholodnitsky replied to Leshchenko that he sees the people’s deputy himself as his successor:
“Mr. Leshchenko, I see you as my successor. Second question, now there are a lot of people who want to speculate on records. For two years they have been trying to discredit me, as the head of the SAP, and say that someone is different,” said the head of the SAP.
“Because, Sergey, I was against some kind of analytical report replacing the production of your apartment for 350 thousand dollars. I was against it, and it was not included in the ERDR. But I inform you that it is better late than never. This production is registered. I’m waiting for the investigation authorities to see how it will end, because the analysis of income and expenses does not allow you to buy an apartment in the center of Kyiv,” added Kholodnitsky.
Let us recall that on September 6, 2016, information appeared on the Internet that people’s deputy Sergei Leshchenko bought a new apartment with an area of approximately 200 m² for UAH 7,5 million in the center of Kyiv.
On December 1, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) reported that Leshchenko, during the purchase of an apartment, received from the developer a “gift” in the form of a discount in the amount of UAH 1,8 million, which exceeds the legally permitted amount of the gift that a people’s deputy can receive. In this regard, NACP announced that Leshchenko had committed an administrative offense and decided to go to court.
