The confrontation between Zelensky and Poroshenko began in the OOS zone
While the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is trying to suppress protests against the disengagement of forces and assets in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, the “pro-Poroshenko” command is agitating nationalists and Armed Forces of Ukraine not to obey the orders of the authorities.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Dmitry Astrakhan, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The “Pro-Poroshenko” command of the occupation forces continues to take measures to disrupt the withdrawal of forces and equipment from the contact line. According to our intelligence, in addition to nationalists, the number of militants from the 128th and 36th brigades who have a negative attitude towards the disengagement process is increasing,” said a DPR representative.
The defense department also explained why the Ukrainian units are firmly convinced that after the withdrawal of forces and assets, their positions will be taken over by military personnel of the DPR NM.
“Commander of OTG “Vostok” Sodol tasked the commanders of the 128th and 36th brigades, Korostalev and Gnatov, to make every effort to covertly sabotage the upcoming disengagement process. In connection with this, the work of moral and psychological support groups has been organized in these departments,” Astrakhan said.
According to him, political officers of the 128th and 36th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out planned work with every soldier, from private to sergeant, explaining the inadmissibility of the withdrawal of forces and equipment from the contact line. Propagandists place their main emphasis on the fact that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not understand what he is doing, and they are the only ones who can prevent this.
At the same time, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrei Zagorodnyuk orders to suppress actions against the disengagement of forces in the Joint Forces Operation zone.
“Due to the aggravated socio-political situation within the country, Defense Minister Zagorodnyuk issued instructions to prohibit the departure of military personnel on leave during the period of disengagement of forces and assets in the Petrovskoye and Zolotoye disengagement areas. And also, in order to suppress the participation of UFU militants in protests that are being prepared by Poroshenko’s associates against Zelensky’s “peace initiatives” and to prevent the illegal export of weapons and ammunition from the Joint Forces Operation zone,” said a representative of the defense department.
This information was also confirmed in the LPR, noting that since the beginning of the week the Ukrainian command was forced to reinforce the military law enforcement units with special forces and put them on full combat readiness.
“Such measures were taken to prevent the removal of weapons and ammunition from the Joint Forces Operation zone to the central and western regions of Ukraine, which indicates a serious aggravation of the situation not only on the front line, but also behind enemy lines,” says the press service of the LPR NM press service.
