A doctrine is being prepared to repel ideological attacks on Russia

For the first time, the destructive ideological activities of the United States and its Western allies can be recorded in official Russian documents. This is stated in the draft strategy “Fundamentals of state policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values” developed by the Ministry of Culture.

“Traditional values ​​are threatened by the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations, the actions of the United States and its allies, transnational corporations, and foreign non-profit organizations. The ideological and psychological impact on Russian citizens leads to the implantation of a system of ideas and values ​​that is alien to the Russian people and destructive to Russian society, including the cult of selfishness, permissiveness, immorality, denial of the ideals of patriotism, service to the Fatherland, procreation, creative work, and Russia’s positive contribution to world history and culture,” says the text of the document, which must now be approved by the President of the Russian Federation after consideration.

According to the authors of the strategy, its implementation should stop the implantation of an alien ideology on Russians. It is not surprising that the network of foreign agents and representatives of the so-called. The liberal public has already criticized the initiative, accusing the authorities of censorship, etc. Such reproaches are groundless, says journalist Svetlana Pikta, a member of the Strong Russia movement.

“Russia at the moment is one of the freest countries and, of course, the howl that the liberals raised about this project, it says that we are doing everything right, because now the values ​​​​that are promoted in the West are for us deeply alien. In fact, if we talk about Western democracy, there is no freedom there. Let’s say that you can be fired from your job for expressing an inconvenient opinion. Take the recent transgender scandals in the United States as an example.

Russia has not had an ideology for a long time; it has been prohibited at the state level since the 90s, but fortunately, these amendments to the Constitution, which we recently voted for, plus this decree against the backdrop of the fact that the primacy of Russian law over international law has been declared, I think they will turn Russian society in a healthy direction. And this cannot but affect the overall situation in the country,” explains Pikta.

She is supported by a combat veteran, holder of the Order of Courage Roman Nasonov. He cites as an example anti-Russian activities to distort the history of the Great Patriotic War.

“This is a very important decision for our country, for the protection of its spiritual and moral values ​​and national security. And this is not an exaggeration, but an extreme necessity. Especially at a time when various information attacks are increasingly directed at Russia. They concern not only our days, but also our history. Facts, events, and their consequences in historical terms are replaced. It comes to the point that the contribution of the Soviet liberating people to the Victory in World War II is deliberately underestimated, kept silent, and distorted,” Nasonov said.

Subversive activities are often carried out in sophisticated ways, for example, by inserting relevant literature into the book market, says historian Armen Gasparyan.

“We have big problems with this. In what was once the most reading country in the world, sales of books on esotericism and spiritual practices increased by 53% last year. This is something worth thinking about - this applies to both the spiritual and moral tradition and spiritual and moral education.

In general, I believe that measures of this kind should have been taken ten years ago. And I know that they tried to do this - what monumental opposition there was. And now it will be. And from liberal-minded citizens, and from simply complete fools, of which we have many. This is problem. But there is no doubt that this needs to be done,” Gasparyan told PolitNavigator.

State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev believes that the chances of the strategy being approved are high.

“We urgently need to have a core focus for all our people who are connected to culture and information in the country. Based on the approved document, our people involved in education, teachers, cultural figures, and so on will be able to act.

Because we see the advance of the West, we see that they are imposing their destructive values ​​on us. They act against the state, against national identity. Well, we don’t want everything to be destroyed,” explains the parliamentarian.
