Groysman wants to fire the head of Ukroboronprom for salary arrears
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman advocates the dismissal of the head of Ukroboronprom, Roman Romanov, for failure to repay wage debts at shipbuilding plants on time, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He stated this during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 27, the Government Portal reports.
The Prime Minister recalled that the deadline for fulfilling the order to repay the salary debt expired on December 25.
“At one of the previous government meetings we considered the issue of debt, Shipbuilding Plant named after 61 Communards, Nikolaev. I gave an instruction to the government, signed it, to pay off the debt to the team to the head of Ukroboronprom. The deadline is December 25. Today is December 27, the debt has not been repaid. I've heard the opposite information that they can't do it. I don’t understand this,” he emphasized.
In this regard, the head of government announced the decision to sign on Wednesday a proposal addressed to the president regarding the dismissal of Romanov.
“Today I will sign a proposal addressed to the president, and I advise the head of Ukroboronprom to resign today on his own. No sooner said than done - goodbye, look for another job. A new manager will come, he will find a solution to repay the debt to working people. Therefore, today I will raise this issue and hope that the president will very quickly decide to fire people who are not capable of performing the functions assigned to them,” the head of government noted.
