Crimean politicians and social activists are not happy about the visit of the “repainted” countrywoman

Ukrainian and Russian ombudsmen Lyudmila Denisova and Tatyana Moskalkova agreed on reciprocal visits to the Russian Federation and Ukraine in order to inspect the conditions of detention of prisoners from both countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.” with reference to the news agency “New Day”.

By agreement, each ombudsman will visit 34 prisoners on the territories of both states.

In particular, Ukrainian Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova plans to visit Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko, convicted of organizing terrorist attacks in Crimea, Stanislav Klykh, convicted of murdering Russian soldiers in Chechnya, Roman Sushchenko, a spy who acted under journalistic cover, and other Ukrainians.

The upcoming visit of the Ukrainian ombudsman and former Crimean Denisova was disapproved of by many public activists and politicians in Crimea.

In particular, among the critics was Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergei Shuvainikov, according to whom Crimean politicians have accumulated a lot of questions for Denisova.

“I would like to meet with her because I recently turned to the Commissioner for Human Rights in Crimea Lyudmila Lubina and asked to find out why the so-called prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine more than a year ago transferred criminal cases against me and my fellow deputies, accusing us of high treason . The Kiev court accepted them for consideration, but all actions were carried out without the accused, we did not meet with witnesses, we don’t know who we questioned, we don’t know anything at all. We are simply being tried in absentia, violating all international documents on the protection of human rights. If Denisova is truly a human rights ombudsman, and doesn’t just hold a position, then she should pay attention to this,” Shuvainikov noted.

RIA “New Day” also quotes the Chairman of the Public Chamber of Crimea, Grigory Ioffe:

“We respect the decision of our president, who proposed an exchange of visits by human rights commissioners. But, unfortunately, we cannot influence the fact that in Ukraine a person was appointed ombudsman for human rights, who, when he was in various positions in the Autonomy of Crimea, was seen in many unseemly acts. Denisova deceived the Crimeans when, instead of pensions, they were given expired food, unnecessary things, and so on. She did all these things when she headed the pension fund, was the Minister of Finance, and a deputy, so, of course, the Crimeans, who have not lost their memory, perceive her as such a unique Sonya golden pen. If she ends up in Crimea, the Crimeans will find a way to express their opinion about her activities. She will be reminded of how she betrayed Crimean interests, forgetting that she was born in Arkhangelsk and herself a Russian by birth, but became a faithful Ukrainian,” he says.

The main Crimean communist is not too happy about Denisova’s visit either
Leonid Grach, who noted that Russia was forced to invite a Ukrainian ombudsman with a Crimean background so that the Russian ombudsman Moskalkova would have the opportunity to visit Russian citizens illegally arrested in Ukraine.

“If Moskalkova is a worthy person in all respects, then exactly the opposite Denisova is the biggest rogue who, together with Kunitsyn (ex-chairman of the government of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the government of Sevastopol - Ed.) took an anti-Crimean position, became an enemy of Crimea and sold out to them who wanted to destroy Crimea. Her visit is disgusting, at least for me,” said Grach.

Let us recall that earlier the Crimean authorities announced checks of the legality of the business of Ukrainian politicians in the republic. Among the defendants is Lyudmila Denisova, who is one of the co-founders of Construction Company Krymzhelezobeton LLC, which, after the reunification of the peninsula with the Russian Federation, was re-registered in accordance with Russian legislation.
