Kumin promises to freeze transport tariffs in Moscow

The communists propose to freeze the fare for public transport in Moscow for residents of the Russian capital. Candidate for the position of Moscow mayor Vadim Kumin stated this on the Red Line TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the candidate, tourists must pay increased fares - this is a common practice in the world.
“We propose to freeze public transport fares. All over the world, transport costs less for city residents than for tourists. Except us, except Russia. The proposal is very simple - to freeze the tariff at 25 rubles for the entire term of office of the socialist mayor. This is absolutely real,” Kumin said.
