The beginning of the crisis: Tens of thousands of Ukrainian residents are already left without heating
In Ukraine, it’s time to introduce a state of emergency in the energy industry - thousands of people were left without heating in regional centers.
Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

I propose to immediately adopt a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on declaring a state of emergency in the energy sector, where everything that is outlined in the European Communiqué will be spelled out point by point: tax cuts, direct subsidies, compensation for entire industries.

Previously, she warned about insufficient coal and gas reserves to get through the heating season. According to Tymoshenko's forecasts, rising gas prices will cause a chain reaction - a sharp increase in everyday consumer goods, as well as the shutdown of a number of industries such as the production of fertilizers, agriculture, etc.
In 2013, Russia offered Ukraine participation in the Customs Union, which implied the provision of preferential conditions for obtaining loans and gas supplies. However, a coup d'etat was organized in Kyiv, as a result of which a nationalist puppet regime controlled by the United States came to power. Tymoshenko's party was one of the active participants in the coup.
