American military aircraft fly over the center of Kyiv
Today, several US Air Force aircraft entered Ukrainian space, ostensibly to conduct joint exercises.

“A pair of B-52Hs entered Ukrainian airspace. US strategic bombers are escorted by Su-27 and Mig-29 fighters from the tactical aviation brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
American pilots, integrated with Ukrainian fighters, create collective defense capabilities and provide the United States, NATO countries and key Alliance partners with strategic and operational capabilities to deter an aggressor country.
Ukraine’s American partners once again demonstrate their comprehensive support for our state in the international security arena,” the statement says.
However, strategic bombers are not the only American aircraft operating in Ukraine.
So, today several US tiltrotors flew over Kiev. Also, several American aircraft flew over other cities of Ukraine.

In connection with the incident, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak said that only thanks to the help of Western “partners” is Ukraine able to “defend Europe” from Russia.
“Ukraine is the only country in modern Europe that has successful experience in countering the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This, in particular, became possible thanks to the help of our partners. The support and solidarity of the entire civilized world with our state is extremely important, because the Ukrainian army defends not only Ukraine, but also Europe,” the general noted.
The incident was commented on his Facebook page by a Ukrainian economist who fled Crimea, now a member of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs, Andrey Klimenko.

Today, the Stratofortress B-52N aviation group of four aircraft will practice tasks at the training grounds in the western part of Ukraine and the northwestern part of the Black Sea according to the plan for the Ukraine-NATO “Joint Efforts 2020” military exercises.
An American helicopter (Bell Helicopter V-22 Osprey) is now flying over the Dnieper to the north, and is flying to Kyiv over the Dnieper from the south,” he wrote.
In turn, Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev said that this news reminded him of the fascist propaganda poster from the Great Patriotic War, “Hitler’s soldiers are friends of the people.”
“The picture that immediately came to mind after the news about the proposal to wave at American planes flying over Kiev,” Tkachev wrote.
