“No army in the world can do this”: Kedmi assessed the transfer of Russian troops
The Russian Federation has proven that no country in the world can so quickly transfer a large number of troops over a distance of several thousand kilometers.
The ex-head of the Israeli agency Nativ, military expert Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, in order to begin real actions on the border with Poland or Ukraine, Russia does not need to spend a lot of time.
“When Russia can transport several armies over a distance of five thousand kilometers in a few hours, this is something that no army in the world can do today. And indeed, they take this seriously. That was last year, not this year.
As comprehensive as these sudden exercises are this year, they are not the same in complexity and operational-strategic significance as they were when they transferred a huge number of combat units over a distance of five thousand kilometers.
I want to remind you that the Americans collected troops for six months to invade Iraq, NATO says that in order for a full-fledged group to stand opposite the Russian army, they need more than a month. And this with great roads in Europe.
Russia did not transport this by road, or by the same number of roads and highways, or the number of railways that exist in Europe. The strategic mobility of the Russian Ground Forces today is at the highest level in the world.
